CMDB Analyst

Technical Skills:  Knowledge in ServiceNow, CMDB discovery & experience handling CMDB & IT Asset Management data.  Process knowledge on the lifecycle of the Configuration Management.  Good understanding & experience in data model, business services, completeness of CMDB.  Reconcile the CMDB data when exceptions are noted between CMDB, discovery information, and other authoritative production data repositories.  Knowledge in customizing Probes and sensors in ServiceNow for the discovery.  Knowledge in asset and configuration item identification, baseline definition, relationship mapping, and CMDB administration.  Good understanding and experience in IT Asset management lifecycle.  Support design, development, and implementation of automated processes for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data.  Ability to develop SQL queries and reports for management on KPIs to improve the process effectiveness, efficiency, and data accuracy.  Ensure ITSM and CMDB alignment with ITIL v3 framework.  Handling duplicates in CMDB.  Work with the audit team for any audit findings  knowledge of multiple Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and industry standard development methodologies.
