Data Analytics is incarge for understanding, preparing, processing and analysing data to make the data valuable and useful for operational andor decisionmaking purposes. Data Analytics may need to team with either Business Intelligence, Sophisticated Analytics and Data Governance positions to create highly useful information. Responsibilities Provide operational support to internal and external partners for Clinical Data Innovation and Insights Services offerings Proprietary Clinical Platform, Product Data Optimization Services, Spend Essentials, Category Management, DOD Works with internal and external partners to drive adoption of existing CDI&I services and solutions and support improvement pipeline Works with Clinical Innovation team and partners to integrate new business pipeline into operations for ongoing support. Support other tasks as assigned dashboards, reporting, auditing, data governance etc. Uses knowledge of business objectives, strategies, and needs to find opportunities where data can be proven to achieve the desired business benefits. Understands current data context, processes and availability, and how current data processes and existing data can be used to achieve the desired benefits. Prepares and analyses data. This can include: locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, validating or modelling. Applies query, data exploration and transformation, basic statistical methods and visualization techniques to build business insights or improve data quality. Performs validation and testing to confirm the accuracy of the information built. Interprets results of analyses, identifies trends and issues, and develops recommendations to support business objectives. Communicates valuable information so that it is easy to understand and influences other to act based on the useful information provided. Implements and maintains decision support or master data management solutions. Collaborate with a team of clinicians to evolve clinical cross reference capabilities to support ongoing and developing use cases Provide revision support based on product manager and clinical assessments Support governance of data using audits to identify gaps and opportunities Qualifications Minimum qualifications Master s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience Preferred qualifications Experience in related field preferred Sophisticated Degree in related field preferred Demonstrable understanding of databases and data manipulation tools SQL and Alteryx preferred Hands on experience in development using and performance tuning of SQL. Query optimization and performance tuning expertise is a must Experience in stored procedures and triggers writing.
