Mine and analyze public and proprietary genomic data fcancer biomarker discovery using publicly available and custom Developerped tools. Assist in Developerpment, testing, and routine use of analysis pipelines fclinical next-generation sequencing testing. Provide feedback to the R&D team on experimental design strategies. Participate as a key member of a multi-functional team including scientists, engineers, and clinicians that spans discovery, Developerpment, and clinical testing. Ability to data mine with artificial neural networks, random forests, and autoencoders. Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, in front of a computer screen and/perform typing fapproximately 90 of a typical working day. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, related technical field. 2+ years of experience bioinformatics, biology, mathematics, data mining, engineering. 1+ years of experience with statistics, engineering, data mining. Excellent skills in Linux shell scripting. Solid understanding of the multiple comparisons problem and overfitting. Strong skills in mathematics, logic, and statistics. Authorization to work in the without sponsorship. Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with without accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree PhD in Statistics, Data Mining, Mathematics, Engineering, similar field of study. 1+ years of experience with next-generation sequencing data analysis. 1+ years of experience in the medical biological field. Experience with public databases (e.g., NCBI, UCSC, gnomAD, etc). Strong knowledge of next-generation sequencing data formats. Project experiences with gene expression analysis and methylation analysis. Experience with Apache Airflow.
