We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of UI Designer, GCB 6 In this role, you will:Working closely with the UI lead to maintain high standards, evolving patterns and interaction across payment journeysCollaborating with the central Design System Guild and Brand team to help the product design team evolve with the latest visual design languageRegularly present and host a variety of workshops to share knowledge, tips and updates on best practiceCollaborate with the product design team to create re-usable patterns and templates for payment journeysDesign illustration using the illustration toolkitDesign & manage payments iconography across digital platformsCollaborate with UX designers to create E2E UI designs using the HSBC design system Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: An impressive design portfolio, showcasing a range of projects, works done on design system, illustrations, and icon (Behance link or PDF upto 5MB size)A good understanding of what UX is and how it will inform the UI and visual designExperience building products for Android, iOS, and webStrong visual design skills. A deep understanding of design systems, pixel perfect UI and interaction designFast paced with the ability to prioritize and work on projects in parallelStrong understanding and application of user-centred design methods and principlesExperience working and collaborating with a diverse team. Taking tech, risk and business teams on a journey with youAbility to strongly articulate your design work and rationale to your peers and cross-functional team.Skills in motion design or the desire to learn on the jobA qualification in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or the equivalent professional experience2-5 years of relevant experienceHSBC, one of the largest banking and financial services institutions in the world, serves millions of customers through its four global businesses.
