Junior Product Designer

Optimising the delivery of business value through business partnering, process improvement, user research and data-centred design of Data Catalog initiatives from conception to launch Performing user research through qualitative enquiry, quantitative data analysis and user testing within the R&D customer base of this product area Obtaining a solid understanding of the business domain and processes within a product area, capturing user goals, needs and expectations and translating these into personas, journeys and user stories that help drive towards improvements Driving process optimisation through process modelling and service design, taking into consideration the product strategy and data landscapes Driving experience design activities to improve user interfaces and task flows through wireframing, prototyping and ideation workshops Working closely with other Product Designers and the Product Owner and other members of the product team, with a clear focus on delivering value quickly while helping to steer the product area towards business-, user- and data-centred improvements Partnering with the business area to understand their challenges and needs, helping ensure smooth deployments and satisfied customers Keeping up with internal and external trends in your product area Demonstrating knowledge of Data Management principles and applying this knowledge to improving data trust within R&D Advocating a user-centred focus within Agile ways of working 8+ years experience working in an IT product related industry, in the areas of IT software analysis, design or delivery including data analysis Experience in or strong awareness of Agile DevOps Strong creativity, problem solving, collaboration, communication, attention to detail and presentation skills Demonstrated experience with data blueprinting and creation of process flow diagrams and conceptual / logical / physical data models Understanding of IT architecture trends and high-level concepts Understanding of / experience in process design and systems design Experience delivering Data Catalog solutions to business Excellent relationship management with strong influencing and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of and ability to develop data catalog using tools (e.g. Ataccama, Collibra, etc) Experience of Pharmaceuticals processes and systems Computing, Technical or Scientific Bachelor s Degree or higher Degree CDMP Certification
