Lead scoping and requirements gathering meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with business and IT teams to arrive at solution to solve complex application design issues. Troubleshoot issues and assist users with identifying system errors and possible enhancement requirements. Identify, monitand report issues, risks, mitigation plan, resource and budget challenges, etc. to all stakeholders as appropriate. Provide IT business stakeholders with support during change management activities, IT annual planning and budget process as requested. Serve as the IT subject matter expert of IT (Corporate and local) portfolio and collaborate with IT leadership to ensure all requests and projects align with IT and Beacons strategy. Demonstrate competency of application functionality, system design and file structures, including ability to write, read and execute SQL scripts. Conduct technical analysis and drive to root cause analysis of complex technical problems. Recommend solutions that are right sized fthe expected impact (e.g. include cost/benefit analysis) Are able to effectively prioritize among multiple competing objectives. Adhere to project plans, timelines and provide support to the project manager. Developerp testing scenarios/scripts, and conduct Level 2 testing and document results fassigned projects requests. Coordinate, and support end user testing efforts (User Acceptance Testing) when appropriate. Support end-user training efforts as a technical subject matter expert. Developerp external companion guides, training and other supplemental documentation as needed. Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with Beacon policies, procedures and company-sponsored annual programs (i.e. compliance training). Negotiate, listen, mitigate conflict, build alliances and achieve desired results using strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills. Lead, plan and/perform special projects and other duties as assigned and required. Mentor, instruct, and, guide other Business Systems Analysts, and provide quality assurance oversight of the work they perform. Support the on board process of hires. Occasional work on weekends evenings including late evenings several times throughout the year Position Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree in a technical field required Relevant Work Experience: 6+ years experience working as a Business Analyst required 2+ years experience working as Project Management required 2+ years experience in professional consulting experience preferred 3+ years Healthcare experience in a payer organization preferred 3+ years writing SQL scripts and conducting data analysis preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Ability to Developerp and coordinate short and long-range planning activities Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects autonomously
