Convosight's Brand Community Building Team is seeking a Social Media Designer in support of the Community team who will be an outstanding addition reporting into the VP of Community. The Social Media Designer is an amazing opportunity for a creative, competent, and confident visual media star to work on creating communities for some of the world's largest brands across Facebook, Reddit and more! Our mission is to create engaging content for community members across 10+ different brand communities from parenting to food to gaming and more and more! A portfolio website or social media account with at least 8-10 examples of relevant work is required for consideration. Key Responsibilities What You'll Do:Work closely with the Community Manager team who look after our different brand communities and create the visual and interactive content to support the content calendar for different brands. Develop graphics and videos to support community content across principally Facebook groups but also other platforms as we grow. 80% : Graphic design - banners, icons, type layout, infographics, Facebook posts that follow each brand's unique brand guidelines. 20% : Create sharable interactive content: Instagram Stories, Reels, Gifs, Custom Art/Static Images, Tiktok etc. Other tasks as assigned. Key Requirements The Essentials :Experience in graphic design Custom art skills a plus excellent design skills Agility to jump from creating visuals for one brand project to another Ability to take direction from multiple team members to support their content calendars and deadlines Experience creating content for a brand, interpreting brand's guidelines on visuals, tone of voice etc. Brilliant ability to follow up, and follow through with multiple ongoing projects Working knowledge of Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop Ability to clearly present concepts, and execute project from start to finish on time Excellent time management skills in order to meet tight deadlines Fluency and passion for social media platforms preferred Outstanding attention to detail and quality Willingness to learn new organizational systems (we use Notion to organise ourselves and Slack to communicate) Can handle a very fast paced environment with last minute changes Technical knowledge of social media platforms, specs Technical knowledge of delivery file formats for social (mov, mp4, adobe suite files ai. psd,) Experience working with creatives, third party vendors and creative team Flexibility What we value:Someone who is independent, self-motivated, and can stay efficient and productive without someone looking over your shoulder all day long Someone who is a voracious learner Actively seeking to learn and view feedback as a beautiful gift Loves tackling ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear goals The perks:Ethical work culture.
