We are looking for a dynamic and purpose-driven Graphics and Web Designer to join our team.(For a term of 2 months) Preference: Available Immediately As a Graphics and Web Designer, at The Better India, you will: Understand & imbibe the brand design guidelines for The Better India brand Suggest & participate in development of new creative design strategies, ideas and concepts to achieve brand and campaign objectives. Translate campaign and event objectives and goals into creative briefs for the design team Create fresh, vibrant, engaging, and impactful graphic and web designs as per the briefs in short time. Ensure consistency, coherency and uniformity of brand language and tone and manner across campaigns and formats. Build decks and presentation materials for pitching campaign proposals to TBI clients and for different brand properties. Create and execute templates and formats for different brand properties such as web ads, print ads, social media posts and ads, visual stories, internal communication, client communication, thumbnails, icons etc. Be conversant with best design practices and guidelines for social media design on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter etc. Ensure quality control of all graphics and web design content produced. Design microsites by incorporating the content provided by the team for various internal campaigns and events by illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and creating wireframe mock-ups which would eventually translate to clickable prototypes. Explore and experiment with various multimedia design formats (such as Instagram Filters, Print Media, etc. as and when required) and implementation of the same in the campaigns and events to scale them up accordingly. Our ideal colleague should have:Minimum 2+ years of experience in visual design, advertising, UI/UX Design or any allied field. A degree in Visual Arts, Design or any other creative field. Excellent eye and penchant for design, Understanding of typography, design principles, copywriting etc. Boundless creativity and endless curiosity. Thorough knowledge of design tools and software such as: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Figma/Adobe XD or any relevant alternatives Understanding of English, Hindi & any other vernacular language will be added advantage Previous experience in working with a digital media, content organisation or design agency will be an added advantage
