Demo Loan Services Technical Engineer

Job Description What You'll DoCisco's Demonstration Loans Program is looking for a dynamic Technical Engineering professional to support the end-to-end technical requirements of the organization. The role is technical in nature and requires a solid understanding of Cisco products. Candidate must have the ability to learn and work on changing and emerging technologies.Individual will partner closely with Technical Marketing Engineers and Product Managers in the Cisco Business Entities to ensure that configurations are valid and testing processes and procedures are clearly documented, maintained and accessible.Work with Cisco Technical Marketing Engineers to design and document reset and restore procedures.Implement respective procedures at our Supplier sites to ensure high standard of quality is met.Support test bench set-up design and implementation at Supplier sites.Follow standard procedures to resolve issues by escalating them to the relevant internal departments.Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software failures; coordinate possible resolution to issue with relevant Cisco Business Entity points of contact as necessary.New Product Introduction (NPI) Analysis: Run sample configurations of new products through Cisco ordering tools to identify product options to order, accessories required, and how the items should be supported by Demo Loan Services OperationsCollect BoM and accessory data from Cisco internal tools to determine accessories needed to support ordering of these productsIdentify viable substitute parts which can be offered to users of the program as well as recommend parts to be procuredManage alternate parts and part substitutes in relevant systemsAbility to recognize valid configurations within a BOM and suggest alternatives as necessarySupport the Supplier employee onboarding process at Cisco including asset management and accessesWho You'll Work WithThe Business Entity CES Central Operations, is the operational execution hub for all Cisco solutions driving an exceptional experience by accelerating productivity, efficiency and profitable growth for our stakeholders.
