Business Objects Developer

The purpose of this role is to understand the client requirements and develop business objects, with the aim to provide solutions to client specifications and support to resolve complex issues Responsibilities Develop and implement reports and dashboards using Business Objects Webi Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Xcelsius. Understand reporting database schemamodel, identify joinstables, and perform data analysis Work closely with the different business groups to understand to their reporting needs. Assist and support teams during the reports testing phase. Skills & Competencies Good Communication Skills: Oral and Written. Able to maintain good work relationship internal and across departments. Able to well organize the tasks Education & Experience Bachelors Engineering Graduate in Computer science or related field 25 years of experience in Business Objects. Technical Skill Set Requirement 3 years? experience in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse space. 2 years of handson Business Objects , report, Universe development, Webi, Xcelsius and Crystal report, dashboard design, development and testing experience, specifically in the latest SAP Business Objects Enterprise Platform BOBJ. Working knowledge of Universe Designer . Working knowledge of Web Intelligence tool . Working knowledge of Xcelsius . Conceptual knowledge of CMC and InfoView Knowledge. Must have intermediate SQL skill. Must have good analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skills. Good communications skills, able to work effectively with business users to understand and clarify requirements as well as educate and resolve end user reporting issues. Knowledge about windows services, debug and deployment skill
